Cookies Policy
Transparent disclosures regarding how WandWeb utilizes browser cookies and tracking technologies to optimize our digital ecosystem.
Version: 2.1 Cookie Governance
1. What Are Cookies?
A computer "cookie" is a small text file embedded into your web browser's storage when you visit a website. These tiny files allow the server to "remember" you across multiple page loads. Without cookies, every time you clicked a new link on a website, it would treat you as a completely new, unrecognized visitor.
WandWeb uses cookies—along with similar technologies like LocalStorage and Web Beacons—to secure our client portal, analyze aggregate traffic patterns, and remember your interface preferences.
2. Strictly Necessary (Essential) Cookies
These cookies are the architectural foundation of our web application. They cannot be disabled without completely breaking the functionality of the site. They do not store personally identifiable marketing information.
- Authentication: Cookies are required to keep you securely logged into the WandWeb Client Portal so you don't have to re-enter your password on every single click.
- Security: We deploy tokens to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, ensuring hackers cannot hijacking your active sessions.
- Load Balancing: Cookies that distribute server traffic evenly, ensuring the site doesn't crash during traffic spikes.
3. Analytics & Performance Tracking
To continuously improve our digital agency architecture, we need to know what features our users find valuable and where they face friction. Performance cookies gather anonymous, aggregated data about how visitors interact with the site.
Data collected includes:
- Which pages are visited most frequently resulting in the highest bounce rates.
- How long it takes for a specific page to render on a mobile device versus a desktop.
- General geographic regions (not exact physical addresses) of our traffic to optimize our Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
4. Third-Party & Marketing Cookies
In some cases, WandWeb utilizes external marketing algorithms to reach potential new clients. These third-party networks may place their own specific cookies on your browser.
- Google Ads / Meta Pixel: These trackers identify if you visited our site after clicking an advertisement on Google or Facebook. This allows us to mathematically measure the Return on Investment (ROI) of our marketing spend.
- Retargeting: If you view our Pricing page but do not check out, these cookies allow third-party ad networks to display WandWeb advertisements to you across other websites to gently remind you of our services.
WandWeb does not control the backend algorithms of these third-party trackers. For exhaustive details on how Google or Facebook handles data, you must review their specific corporate privacy policies.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You retain sovereign control over your browser. You are not legally obligated to accept non-essential cookies.
Within Your Browser
Virtually all modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) allow you to intercept, view, and permanently block cookies. You can:
- Command your browser to automatically delete all cookies the moment you close the window (Incognito Mode).
- Block "Third-Party" cookies entirely while allowing "First-Party" (essential) cookies.
Warning
If you aggressively configure your browser to block all cookies (including Strictly Necessary ones), the WandWeb Client Portal will fail to authenticate your session, making it physically impossible for you to log in, view your projects, or pay invoices.
