Welcome to Wandering Webmaster (“WWM,” “we,” “us”). By accessing our website (wandweb.co), Discord server, or using any services, you agree to these legally binding terms.


1. Service Scope & Definitions

1.1 Core Services

WWM provides:

  • Web Design & Development (Standard/Large/Business Card sites)

  • Hosting Solutions (Australian-based servers with daily backups)

  • SEO & Social Media Management (Local rank tracking, GBP optimization)

  • Pay-In-12 Interest-Free Plans (Website financing)

  • Monthly Maintenance Partnerships (Personal/Business tiers)

  • In-Person Tech Support (Sunshine Coast/Mary Valley QLD)

  • Directory Listings & Citation Management

  • Email Services (Signature design, verification)

1.2 Supplemental Offerings

  • Site Transfers (From Wix/Squarespace/Shopify)

  • Third-Party Platform Design (Wix/Shopify customization)

  • Charity Website Development (Pro bono services)

  • Discord Community Support (WWM Gaming & WWM Services)


2. Account Management

2.1 Registration Requirements

  • Must be 16+ years (under 18 requires guardian consent)

  • Valid contact information & payment method (Stripe)

  • Prohibited: Bot accounts, duplicate profiles

2.2 Service Access Levels

Wandering Webmaster offers a range of digital services, each with specific access levels to ensure security, transparency, and effective collaboration. Access levels define the permissions and capabilities granted to clients, partners, and internal staff across our platforms, websites, and third-party integrations.

A. Client Portal & Account Access

1. Basic Member

  • Can browse public website content and access general Discord channels

  • No access to client-only resources, project management tools, or private support

2. Client Access

  • Secure login to the WWM Client Portal and/or service-specific dashboards

  • Access to various ‘Client Only’ Discord channels for direct support, project updates, and networking

  • View project status, invoices, and request support

  • Submit content, feedback, or support tickets

  • Access to documentation, knowledge base, and private Discord support forums

3. Maintenance Partner

  • All Client Access features

  • Priority support via Discord and email

  • Access to monthly performance and maintenance reports

  • Ability to schedule website updates and request edits per partnership plan

4. Business/Agency Partner

  • All Maintenance Partner features

  • Dedicated account manager

  • Early access to new features and beta services

  • Custom reporting and analytics dashboards

  • Invitation to networking and referral programs

B. Platform & Third-Party Integrations

For optimal service delivery, Wandering Webmaster may require access to your digital platforms. Access is always requested securely and with your explicit consent. Access levels are tailored to the platform and your needs:

1. Website CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, etc.)

  • Admin Access: Required for full website design, updates, plugin/theme installation, and troubleshooting

  • Editor Access: For content updates, blog posting, and minor edits

  • Viewer/Analytics Access: For review and reporting only

2. Social Media & Ad Accounts

  • Admin/Manager: Enables us to create, edit, and manage campaigns, update business info, and access analytics

  • Advertiser: Allows campaign management without billing or user control

  • Analyst: View-only access for reporting and insights

3. Google Services (Analytics, Ads, Search Console, GBP, Tag Manager, etc.)

  • Manager/Admin: Full control for setup, optimization, and integration

  • Standard: Campaign management and reporting

  • Read-Only: Access for monitoring and performance reviews

4. Email & Domain Services

  • Admin: Required for setup, migration, and troubleshooting

  • User: For mailbox management and content updates

5. Directory Listings & Citations

  • Submission Access: Allows us to create and update business listings

  • Verification Access: Temporary access to verify ownership or make changes

C. Internal & Staff Access

Wandering Webmaster staff and contractors are granted access based on their role and the principle of least privilege:

  • Project Managers: Oversee all aspects of client projects and communications

  • Developers/Designers: Access limited to relevant client websites and assets

  • Support Staff: Access to support tickets, Discord moderation, and client communications

  • Finance/Admin: Access to billing, invoicing, and payment processing (Stripe)

D. Security & Access Management

  • All access requests are made transparently and revoked upon project completion or contract termination.

  • Clients retain ownership and ultimate control of their accounts and can revoke agency access at any time.

  • Sensitive credentials are handled using secure password managers and encrypted channels.

  • We never change primary account information (such as main emails or business phone numbers) without explicit client approval.

3. Payment Terms & Billing

3.1 Accepted Methods

  • Stripe (Primary processor)

  • Direct bank transfer (AU institutions only)

  • No cash/PayPal/cheque acceptance

3.2 Payment Plans

Pay-In-12 Structure:

  • 12 equal monthly payments

  • 0% interest with 10% deposit

  • Ownership transfer post-final payment

  • Late fees: 5% + $15 AUD/week

Maintenance Partnerships:

  • Auto-renewal with 14-day cancellation notice

  • Suspension after 7-day payment delinquency


3.3 Refund Policy

Australian Consumer Law Compliance

Wandering Webmaster fully complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to remedies such as refunds, repairs, or replacements if our services fail to meet consumer guarantees of acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, or do not match their descriptions.

Service-Specific Refund Terms

1. Web Design & Development

  • Deposit (50%): Non-refundable after design concept approval.

  • Final Payment: Refundable only if work contains irreparable technical errors.

  • Change of Mind: No refunds after design sign-off.

  • Project Abandonment: 75% refund if canceled before development phase.

2. Hosting Services

  • New Subscriptions: Full refund available within 14 days if no data has been uploaded.

  • Existing Plans: Pro-rated refunds for unused months.

  • Downtime Compensation: Service credits applied for outages exceeding our Service Level Agreement (SLA).

3. SEO/Social Media Management

  • Strategy Implementation: No refunds after keyword research or strategy delivery.

  • Performance Guarantee: 50% credit if agreed ranking improvements are not achieved within 6 months.

  • Content Disputes: Refunds excluded if issues arise from client-provided content.

4. Pay-In-12 Plans

  • Early Termination: Remaining balance payable immediately upon cancellation.

  • Ownership Rights: Full ownership transfers only after all 12 payments are completed.

  • Service Failure: Refunds, if applicable, are calculated proportionally.

5. Maintenance Partnerships

  • Personal Plan: Requires 30-day cancellation notice.

  • Business Plan: Includes a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers.

  • Auto-Renewal: Refunds not available after a 7-day grace period post-renewal.

6. In-Person Tech Support

  • Cancellation: Full refund if canceled more than 24 hours before the appointment.

  • No-Shows: 100% of service fee retained.

  • Dissatisfaction: 50% refund if the issue remains unresolved after two support attempts.

7. Directory Listings & Citations

  • Submission Errors: Free corrections within 7 days of submission.

  • Removal Requests: No refunds after 48 hours of processing.

8. Email Services

  • Signature Design: Includes one free revision.

  • Verification Failures: Full refund if the domain remains unverified.

9. Site Transfers

  • Pre-Migration: 100% refund if canceled before DNS changes are made.

  • Post-Migration: No refunds for theme or plugin compatibility issues.

10. Third-Party Platform Design

  • Platform Fees: Client is responsible; these fees are non-refundable.

  • Template Customization: 25% refund if base files are corrupt.

11. Charity Websites

  • Pro Bono Work: No refunds as services are donated in-kind.

  • Hosting Costs: Non-refundable after 7 days.

12. Discord Support

  • Premium Roles: Pro-rated refunds for unused access periods.

  • Community Bans: No refunds issued for rule violations.

General Conditions

  • Refund Method: Refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe or bank transfer).

  • Request Timeframe: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of service completion.

  • Evidence: Customers may be required to provide evidence such as screenshots or error logs for technical claims.

  • Dispute Resolution: Unresolved disputes may be referred to mediation through the Queensland Small Business Commissioner.

This refund policy supplements your rights under Australian Consumer Law and does not limit or remove your statutory protections.

4. Service-Specific Conditions

4.1 Web Development

  • File Ownership: Transfers upon full payment

  • Portfolio Rights: WWM retains demonstration rights unless NDA exists

  • Revisions: 2 rounds included, $55/hour thereafter

4.2 Hosting Infrastructure

  • Uptime SLA: 99.5% (excludes scheduled maintenance)

  • Backup Protocol: 7-day retention, $75 restoration fee

  • Resource Limits: As per selected plan limits provided in your quote

4.3 SEO/SMM Services

  • Keyword Guarantees: Position improvements not guaranteed

  • Content License: Client provides assets or Wandering Webmaster can provide royalty-free resources

  • Reporting Frequency: Quarterly performance reviews


5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Content Standards

  • No illegal/harassing/discriminatory material

  • Compliance with Australian Copyright Act 1968

  • Responsive to update requests within 72hrs

5.2 Technical Obligations

  • Maintain valid domain registration

  • Secure credentials (2FA recommended)

  • Regular CMS updates (WordPress core/plugins)


6. Discord Community Rules

Wandering Webmaster operates an inclusive Discord community for WWM Services and WWM Gaming. By participating in our Discord server, you agree to uphold the following rules and standards, designed to foster a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members.

6.1 Core Community Rules

  • Respect Each Other:
    Discrimination or hate speech of any kind—including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic—will not be tolerated.

  • No Spamming:
    Do not flood channels with repetitive, irrelevant, or disruptive messages, links, or images.

  • Keep it Appropriate:
    Explicit, NSFW (not safe for work), or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.

  • Follow Discord’s Terms of Service:
    All members must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and any applicable local or international laws.

  • Report Any Issues:
    If you witness rule violations or encounter problems, promptly inform moderators via our reporting system or by tagging @Helpers or @Moderators.

  • Be Kind and Courteous:
    Treat all members with kindness and respect, fostering a positive and supportive community atmosphere.

  • Stay on Topic:
    Keep discussions relevant to each channel’s purpose. Avoid derailing conversations with unrelated topics.

  • Use Appropriate Language:
    Offensive language, profanity, or derogatory remarks that may upset or offend others are not permitted.

  • Respect Privacy:
    Do not share personal information (including addresses, phone numbers, or private conversations) about yourself or others without explicit consent.

  • No Advertising Without Permission:
    Business promotion is allowed, but do not promote external products, services, or communities that may adversely affect WWM without prior approval from moderators or administrators.

6.2 Additional Guidelines

  • Exercise Good Judgement:
    Always act with respect and kindness. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

  • Promote Positive Engagement:
    Contribute to meaningful discussions and help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all.

  • Enjoy the Experience:
    Our goal is to foster an enjoyable and inclusive environment. Have fun and make the most of your time here!

6.3 Moderation & Enforcement

  • Moderator Discretion:
    This list of rules is not exhaustive. Moderators may address any behaviour or breaches of conduct not explicitly outlined here. Always exercise sound judgment and discretion when interacting on the server.

  • Automated Moderation:
    We employ moderation bots and tools that monitor activity 24/7. However, community reporting is essential for maintaining standards.

6.4 Reporting & False Reports

  • Reporting Violations:
    If you observe a rule violation, please submit a report via our reporting form or notify a moderator directly. All reports must be made responsibly and truthfully.

  • Consequences for False Reports:
    Submitting false reports undermines the integrity of our community. Consequences may include, but are not limited to:

    • Warning: A formal reminder regarding the seriousness of false reports.

    • Temporary Suspension: Loss of Discord privileges for a period ranging from a few days to a week.

    • Permanent Ban: In extreme cases or for repeat offenders, a permanent ban from the community.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Client Assets

  • Full ownership of provided logos/copy/media

  • WWM license for service implementation

7.2 WWM Property

  • Template designs remain WWM copyright

  • Prohibited: Reverse engineering/rebranding

7.3 Third-Party Assets

  • Client responsibility for licensed fonts/plugins

  • GPL compliance required for WordPress themes


8. Termination & Suspension

8.1 Client-Initiated

  • 30-day written notice for partnerships

  • Data export available for 14 days post-termination

8.2 WWM Rights

  • Immediate suspension for:

    • Payment delinquency >30 days

    • TOS violations

    • Illegal activity

8.3 Data Retention

  • 90-day backup post-termination

  • $150 archival retrieval fee


9. Liability & Disclaimers

9.1 Service Limitations

  • No guarantee of SEO ranking improvements

  • Third-party integrations at user’s risk

  • Maximum liability: 6 months service fees

9.2 Force Majeure

Exemptions for:

  • Natural disasters

  • ISP outages

  • Cyberattacks

  • Services outside of Wandering Webmasters control

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Mediation Process

  2. 14-day negotiation period

  3. QLD-based arbitration if unresolved

10.2 Governing Law

  • Queensland jurisdiction

  • Compliance with Australian Consumer Law


11. Amendments & Notices
